FORREST DANLEY, Attorney 

Forrest Danley, Attorney practices law with The Danley Law Firm, P.C. in Edmond, Oklahoma with the assistance of his legal staff.  Mr. Danley helps individuals, families, and business owners with many of their important legal needs.  His primary practice areas include Estate Planning (Trusts and Wills, etc.), Trust Administration, Probate, Business Law, Elder Law, and Special Needs Planning.

Mr. Danley received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Math/Physics from East Central University with highest honors.  He then received a law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law with distinction after working in an engineering position with the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.  Prior to establishing his own law firm in Edmond, Mr. Danley practiced law in Washington, D.C. with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, in Oklahoma City with McAfee & Taft, and in Edmond with The McAlister Law Firm.

Mr. Danley is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association (inactive).  He is also a member of WealthCounsel, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Estate Planning and Probate Law, Real Property, and Tax Law Sections of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council, and the Oklahoma Health Lawyers Association.

Mr. Danley received and has maintained an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell for many years.  According to that organization, as the result of an extensive and confidential peer review by other attorneys, the AV Preeminent Rating (which "identifies a lawyer with very high to preeminent legal ability") was awarded to Mr. Danley and is a reflection of Mr. Danley's "expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence."

In addition, Mr. Danley has been recognized by his peers, on multiple occasions, as "Lawyer of the Year" in the practice area of Elder in Oklahoma City which is awarded by The Best Lawyers in America.

In his Estate Planning and Elder Law practice, Mr. Danley combines a knowledge of traditional Estate Planning (Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, etc.) with a knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and incapacity planning to ensure that life choices are preserved as clients direct, whether for themselves or for special needs beneficiaries.

Mr. Danley enjoys presenting important information about these legal needs and has been a guest speaker and faculty member on numerous occasions to senior citizens groups, health organizations, attorneys, and other professional organizations, including the State Conference on Aging, Continuing Legal Education seminars for lawyers, and the Oklahoma Tax Institute for CPAs.

On a personal note, Mr. Danley was born and raised in Ada, Oklahoma, is married, and has three children.
